Technical IQ

Next in line comes technical skill. like here You have to know your way around the computer and not just that, you need to be totally comfortable with programs like Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Flash to name a few. After all, these are the programs you will be using on a daily basis while you are working. Gone are the days when a pencil and paper were all you needed to become a successful graphic designer, being computer savvy is a big part of graphic designing, moreover, as technology advances, you need to be able to adapt quickly too!

Getting the Message Across

Communicating ability is a big part of graphic designing. Ever wondered why graphic designing has sometimes been called Visual Communicating? It’s all about painting the right picture. As a graphic designer, you have to basically come up with designs which will get a message across quickly and effectively. You have to be able to present ideas well in order to give your clients what they want.

Other Skills

Problem solving ability is another skill that you are required to possess if you are to be a graphic designer. You can view graphic designing as a huge brainteaser and the faster you solve it, the better for you. Coming up with bold color combinations, lines and borders might seem simple, but it sure isn’t. Lastly, you must have organizational abilities as well.
